GERMAN ENAMEL BADGES/MEDALS/PINS
OF WW2
RUSSIAN ENAMELS
                    INDEX
On this page I am going to illustrate some of the enamel badges/pins from my collection.  Take note of the manner in which the pin is attached to the back of the piece.  It has been my experience that this is the easiest way to tell a fake/reproduction from the real deal.
Most real pins have an indent in the back where the attachment plate will fit into, most fakes do not have this correctly reproduced.  Compare some of thiese pins with the pins on the fake page to understand .
Another misconception among many is that the RZM code found on many of these is a standard variation with the Z crossed and the 2 circles surrounding the letters.  This is not true.  Many makers short cutted the symbol, so that sometimes the Z was crossed and other times not.  I have also seen one circle instead of the 2 normally thought to denote a real pin.  Look at some of the examples on this page to see the different types of variations of the RZM letters.
