Here is a gallery of some Russian enamels from my collection. Many of these were produced with minor variations right through from the 1930's through the fall of the Soviet Union. The Russians used higher grade metals in the production of these compared to the Germans. Generally these are silver with high grade enamel work.
Another trait of Russian medals are they are serial numbered. The Grouping above (top left hand corner)is
all documented to a Major from the war.
